Domestic Matter

This ceramic work spans functional pottery and sculptural forms, developed through sustained making and material testing. Wheel-thrown vessels emphasize repetition, balance, and surface, while sculptural works—such as the pie forms—draw from domestic references to examine labor, consumption, and excess. Across both modes, function and form operate as parallel structures, allowing use, familiarity, and material behavior to shape meaning. Clay becomes a site where utility and critique coexist.
