What the Body Carries

This body of work addresses sexual violence through material transformation, performance, and representation of bone as structure and residue. Ceramic bones, a performance using clay, and a painting of bodily metamorphosis reflect how trauma is carried internally, often long after the moment of harm has passed. Rather than illustrating events, the work focuses on aftermath: fracture, endurance, and the tension between vulnerability and survival. Material becomes a means of holding what is difficult to name, allowing form to stand in for lived experience.
